Privacy Policy

Our commitment to protecting your privacy and personal data

2026/08/21

Introduction

Welcome to our Privacy Policy. This document explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: The name and email address you provide when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
  • Images you upload: The image you submit for restoration and the enhanced result, together with the original file name, file size, and image dimensions. See "Uploaded images" below for how long we keep them.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with our website, including pages visited, which features you use, and whether a restoration succeeded or failed.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device category. We also record your IP address, but we store it only as a one-way cryptographic hash, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not keep the address itself.
  • Purchase information: When you buy credits, we receive the order reference, the email address used at checkout, the amount, and which pack you bought. We never receive or store your card number — see "Third-Party Services" below.

Uploaded Images

Uploaded images and the enhanced results are stored only for the time it takes to process and deliver them, and are automatically deleted 24 hours after processing.

Your images are not used to train models. They are not sold, and they are not shared with anyone beyond the processing provider named below, which needs them to perform the restoration you asked for.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our services
  • To process your purchases and keep your credit balance accurate
  • To enforce the free daily allowance and prevent abuse of the service
  • To notify you about changes to our services
  • To provide customer support
  • To gather analysis or valuable information to improve our services
  • To monitor the usage of our services
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following providers to operate the service. Each one receives only the data it needs for the purpose listed, and none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes.

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, image storage, database, and content delivery. As our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare processes all of the data described above on our behalf.
  • HiAPI — AI image restoration. Receives the image you upload, in order to process it.
  • Google — optional "Sign in with Google", and Google Analytics 4 for usage statistics. Sign-in receives your Google account identity; Analytics receives usage events and device information.
  • Waffo — payment processing. Waffo is our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Receives your checkout email address, billing country, and payment details, which it collects directly from you.

Because Waffo is the merchant of record, your card details are entered on Waffo's checkout page and are never sent to us. We only ever see the outcome of the order.

These providers operate internationally, which means your information may be processed in countries other than your own.

Your Data Rights

You have the following rights over the personal information we hold about you. Some of them come from laws that apply only in certain countries, but we extend all of them to every user regardless of where you live.

  • Right to be informed — to know what we collect, why we collect it, and who we share it with. This policy is how we tell you.
  • Right of access — to obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete information about you corrected.
  • Right to erasure — to have your personal information deleted, subject to records we are required to keep, such as transaction records retained for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Right to restrict processing — to ask us to pause the use of your information while a dispute about its accuracy or our use of it is resolved.
  • Right to data portability — to receive the information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, to withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.

How to exercise these rights

To exercise any right above, contact us from the email address on your account. We respond within 30 calendar days. There is no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.

Correcting your information

You can change your display name yourself at any time under Settings. For anything else, including a change of account email address, contact us and we will make the correction.

Closing your account

There is currently no self-service delete button. Contact us and we will close your account and delete the personal information associated with it — your email address, name, sign-in records, and restoration history — within 30 calendar days. We will keep only what we are legally required to retain, such as records of purchases needed for tax and accounting.

Uploaded images

You do not need to make a request to have uploaded images removed — they are deleted automatically, as described under "Uploaded Images" above.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
